How to Throw A Princess Party
Throwing the best Princess themed birthday party for your little Princess or Prince can be fun and affordable. Let us lay down the basics so that you can create the most magical day in a few easy steps. With a few key touches your guests will have an incredible time and Bippity-Bobbity-YOU can too!

The Ultimate Princess Party Checklist:
A Royal Visit From A Real Princess - Nothing will excite your little guests more than a visit from their favorite princess character. Make sure to hire a princess who will show up on time and have the caring personality required for a kids birthday party.
Facepaint & Tattoo Station - Help the kids get fully into their princess persona with themed temporary tattoos, a nail decorating station, costume jewelry, and facepainting.
Princess Accessory Crafts - Having an easy craft on hand is great for when kids have had a little too much sugar and are ready for a quieter break. Keeping little hands busy with a magic wand decorating station or a paper crown kit can be the difference between a meltdown and a well-deserved fun day for all. Including the parents!
Dancing Games - Get your child’s guests moving and having fun with a Disney playlist. Throw in a few rounds of freeze dance and limbo and it’ll be a real celebration. If you’d like to take it up a notch, set up a sing along or karaoke area.
Coronation - A princess party would not be complete without a Royal Coronation. Make the birthday girl feel extra special on her big day by setting a little throne with streamers and balloons. Present your child with a special princess crown and personalized gift. This is a great segue for a birthday cake time, to share a quick thank you to guests, or to let guests know it’s time to wrap up.
Princess Party Favors - Keep the party favors simple and fun. How many times do you get a grab bag full of plastic that you throw away and sweets that you hide from your child and then eat in the pantry before bed? Some stickers, a Ring Pop, a small toy or figurine, and a thank you note in an organza gift bag is elegant like only a Princess can be.
What Food Should You Serve at a Princess Party?

Food that Sparkles - Have an edible glitter sprinkles station for iced cookies, cupcakes, doughnuts, or rice crispy treats. We recommend getting the plastic shaker bottles to minimize the spread of germs.
Easy DIY Trail Mix - Get an assortment of your favorite trail mix components like pretzels, raisins, nuts, or cereal. Then get custom colored M&Ms that match your Princess Theme. For example, get blue & white for Elsa or green and yellow for Tiana. Provide a spoon and themed paper cups. If you have time, prep the portions ahead of time! That way it’ll be easier for guests to take food home with them at the end of the party.
Magic Fairy Wands - This snack is always a hit and is easy to make. Depending on the age of your child, you can even make it together. There are many recipes to choose from. Remember to make the pretzel wands close to your event date so they don’t go stale.
Get Creative With The Food Names - Make labels for the food that make the ordinary more exciting. Instead of a vegetable plate you can call it Unicorn Snacks. Juice boxes are Magical Potions. A fruit salad can be Edible Gemstones. This could be a fun way to get your birthday girl involved in the party planning. Have your child make and decorate the labels with whatever art supplies you have around the house.
